Jen joined the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment department as a PBL Teacher Trainer/Coach in January, 2015. Previously, Jen served as an Itinerant Computer Education Specialist from 2011-2015 at the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation (Citi) and supported two component school districts in computer, technology and instructional leadership areas. Her major areas of interest include blended learning, project-based learning and professional coaching. Prior to that, Jen was an elementary teacher with the Mexico Academy and Central School District for 11 years. Jen is an active member of the New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE). She has served on the NYSCATE Annual Conference Planning Committee as the Social Media Chair since 2010, and has been an officer on the Executive Board of Directors since 2012. Jen also holds a seat as an EdTech Advisor on the Board of Advisors for Project World School. JJen is a NYS certified teacher with a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, both earned at SUC at Oswego.
