Ted is a middle school science teacher for Hamilton Community Schools in Hamilton, Michigan. Ted incorporates PBL into his science curriculum while looking to connect content areas and authentic learning experiences for his students. In addition to teaching middle school science, Ted is a lead teacher for the Future Preps program in Ottawa County. Ted is an instructor for the IChallengeU Summer Academy in which high school students solve real world problems for local businesses. Ted also has taught in the Future Prep Make Lab where students design solutions to problems found in their community. Finally, Ted is working with a team of teachers on launching a Future Preps Connections program that places students with a local company in a year-long inquiry based atmosphere, to experience what these companies do first hand as they prepare for their future.
