Principals Meet for Continuous Improvement

Being a school principal is difficult work (to say the least). The tension between leadership and management is a tug-of-war that is never won. Principals in the OCM BOCES meet several times each year, keeping up-to-date with education news, sharing practices, and exploring ways to make our schools better.

Many of the meetings have a topical focus. For the 2016-2017 school year, some of the topics that have been identified include: mental health, legal updates, school culture, co-teaching, science, accurate and effective communication with families, and others.
