April 2016 Connections: How we make them and how we stay connectedJose Luis Vilson shares his story of connecting with students and what happens when that connection breaks down. Youth trained in primary drug prevention on a peer levelTeen Institute is a program that provides training for students in leadership skills around drug and alcohol prevention. As we make connections with students, make sure that we are giving them opportunities to voice their views and make a difference. Many schools have teams of teenagers who attend the fall weekend long training. Check out this site to learn more about this opportunity.
