Google Expeditions - Tested ways to use

Google Expeditions is a Virtual Reality Field Trip resource. This program has expended to include diagrams and art created by experts in their fields. In this workshop you will be introduced to Google Expeditions and how to get it to work in your school library. All tips in this workshop have been tested at several schools and other locations. Included will be recommendations on how these can be integrated into lessons and added to the research process.

Tammy Cummings is the School Library Media Specialist for the Center for Instruction Technology & Innovation (CiTi) in Mexico, New York. She received her master’s degree in Library Science from University at Buffalo SUNY. Tammy has her Library Media Specialist certification for New York. This is her 4th year as a school librarian at CiTi. Tammy loves to incorporate technology into lessons. Two of her favorites are 3D printers and Virtual Reality (Google Expeditions).
